MUSK HYBRID
Hybrid Musk roses were a breakthrough when
introduced in the early 20th Century. The vigorous plants have long
blooming periods; all are at least recurrent, some continuous Their growth
habits vary, but all produce an attractive plant that fits well in the landscape
and is covered in clusters of mostly fragrant flowers.

BALLERINA
A dainty single that flowers mostly continuously with huge dense bloom
clusters on arching canes. It's a vigorous plant that will grow to
3 feet by 4 feet, spreading out like a fountain. Health

BUFF BEAUTY Has two
major flushes of bloom, the first one lasting about 6 weeks where it is
covered in a mass of tea-like doubles. It has a fine
fragrance. It will grow to be a bushy shrub of over 8 feet, so
some support is needed if you want a tidier form. Full sun is
okay, but the blooms have a richer coloring in 1/2 day sun. My
plant is placed against a wall and the canes
that stick outward are either nipped off or trained back against the
wall. Health

DARLOW'S ENIGMA Love the name!
This vigorous climber/loose shrub spontaneously appeared in Mr. Darlow's
garden, so it's parentage can only be guessed at (waiting on DNA tests,
it's assigned to this class). Clusters of
small white blooms seem to appear when the other roses are
resting. Health is EX

ERFURT
A
droopy shrub or fine climber of delicate form and color. Mine is
growing up a dogwood tree where the dappled shade highlights the
delicacy of its blooms. There is a photo of the plant in the Gallery
section. Health is VG
