MINI 

As the name implies, these are miniature roses, some even qualify as micro-minis.  The regular miniatures grow to about 18 inches, the micro-minis to 8 or 10 inches.  These roses started looking more attractive as I felt I was running out of space for larger rose plants.  They vary from recurrent to continuous in bloom and have little if any fragrance.  I grow mine in a raised rockery so that I can better  appreciate their exquisite small forms close-up.  Over the past few years though, I have thrown out all but two of my minis as, they would give me a fine show of bloom, then deteriorate into a diseased or leafless mess.  Even the two I kept suffer this defect, but their bloom is gorgeous so I grow other plants nearby to spill over them and cover up their ugliness.

RING OF FIRE  A fully double petite bloom of high drama.  It doesn't take much effort to figure out where the name came from.  Health G
	ROLLER COASTER  A perky semi-double bloom of white, striped with varying shades of red.  It looks best where it can drape over and down something like a slope or rockery.  Health is G
